No budget, but new lighting!
The outdated and energy-guzzling street lighting cost a lot of money every year for energy and maintenance. But there was no budget for innovation. The Rentalite calculation showed that there could be a very big saving of 65% on energy and maintenance, and that the Municipality of Neuenhaus could easily pay for the new lighting in a monthly model of 10 years.
The 4, 6 and 8 meter high masts were replaced with the latest Rentalite PPL fixtures. Due to the long lifespan of 100,000 hours, there is no need for maintenance and replacement in 20 years, which also results in a very large saving. The municipal authorities have done an inspection in the evening, which has been concluded with great satisfaction.
